Philodendron Elegans #1

The Philodendron Elegans is a fast-growing epiphytic vining climber, this elegant plant is well sort after and for good reason - the foliage! The lovely vine sprawls across the ground or will climb the nearest tree, adding a pole (moss or fern fibre work well) will help the plant thrive. Or, if you'd rather maintain its combact size, trim off the stem tips which are easy to propagate into a second plant. 

 This plant is in a 17cm grow pot.

Basic Care Requirements:

Water: Water when the soil has dried out by 50% and remove any excess water to avoid damage to the roots such as root rot. 

Light: Keep in a brightly lit spot without direct sun, as direct sun can damage the leaves. 

Soil: A standard high-quality potting mix that has been mixed with a cacti mix that allows well-drainage.

Humidity: This plant thrives high humidity and does not like the cold. Avoid drafty areas and any places in the house that gets the coldest during the winter months. 

Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertiliser once a month during Spring and Summer. We recommend the Dyna Gro Foliage-Pro fertilizer which promotes the growth of new foliage + aids in the general wellbeing of your plant.

The Dyna Gro Pro-TeKt is a recommended suppliment that encourages cellular growth and strengthening that will aid your plant in protecting itself against pests.
