Basic Care Requirements:
Water: Allow the soil to dry out up to 50% before watering. Remove excess water as allowing the plant to sit in water can cause root rot.
Light: Keep in a brightly lit spot without direct sun, as direct sun can damage the leaves. Not enough light can cause the multi-patterned colours to fade so keep it in a well-balanced spot.
Soil: A standard high-quality indoor plant mix.
Humidity: This plant thrives in medium to high humidity and will require misting if placed in a dry spot.
Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertiliser once a month during Spring and Summer. We recommend the Dyna Gro Foliage-Pro fertilizer, which promotes the growth of new foliage + aids in the general well-being of your plant. The Dyna Gro Pro-TeKt is a recommended supplement that encourages cellular growth and strengthening that will aid your plant in protecting itself against pests.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Dispatch & Courier Times We currently dispatch North Island orders on Monday - Wednesday (cut off Wednesday 3pm) each week. North Island orders may take up to two business days. For all rural addresses please add an extra day. If you haven't received your order in a reasonable time frame please email info@thepowerplant.co.nz and we will track your order for you
South Island deliveries are sent out on Monday and Tuesday to avoid any risk of your order sitting in the courier depot over the weekend. South Island orders may take up to three days for delivery, for rural addresses please add an extra day.
A copy of your receipt will be provided via email. It is important to hold on to a copy of your receipt should you have any problems with your purchase.
Leaving Deliveries Our deliveries don’t require a signature upon arrival, however, if you anticipate that you may not be home, please advise a safe place for the courier to leave your parcel when placing your order online. Delivery Addresses We accept both business and residential addresses for delivery however we cannot ship to a PO BOX address.Thanks for subscribing!
