Philodendron Hope 14cm

The Philodendron Hope has a lovely, verdant green foliage that can grow into a large leafy house-plant! The foliage is unique in terms of the shape along the edges - slightly crimped with natural splits along the sides of the leaves. Watching this plant grow from a small Philodendron Hope into a large, flourishing house-plant is a journey any plant-lover would love to be apart of. 

This plant is sold in a 14cm plastic grow pot.

Basic Care Requirements:

Water: Allow the soil to dry out up to 50% before watering. Remove excess water as allowing the plant to sit in water can cause root rot. 

Light: Keep in a brightly lit spot without direct sun, as direct sun can damage the leaves. If placed in a lower light situation the plant can still survive however, the leaves will darken. Direct sun can cause damage to the leaves so ensure the plant is kept out of the sun.

Soil: A standard high-quality indoor plant mix.

Humidity: This plant thrives in high humidity and will require misting if placed in a dry spot. This plant does not enjoy the cold so avoid any drafty areas. 

Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertiliser once a month during Spring and Summer. We recommend the Dyna Gro Foliage-Pro fertilizer which promotes the growth of new foliage + aids in the general wellbeing of your plant.

The Dyna Gro Pro-TeKt is a recommended suppliment that encourages cellular growth and strengthening that will aid your plant in protecting itself against pests.
