Our Plant-Only Subscription Box is perfect for you. Subscribers receive a new plant and stylish ceramic planter delivered to their door every month for your selected time.
This subscription is ideal to send as a gift or for a new plant parent who wants to bring the outdoors in but isn’t sure where to start. Start slow and easy while you build up your confidence, all while we're here to help you throughout the whole plant parent process!

Delivery Options Available:
Dispatch & Courier Times
We currently dispatch North Island orders on Monday - Wednesday (cut off Wednesday 3pm) each week. North Island orders may take up to two business days. For all rural addresses please add an extra day. If you haven't received your order in a reasonable time frame please email info@thepowerplant.co.nz and we will track your order for you
South Island deliveries are sent out on Monday and Tuesday to avoid any risk of your order sitting in the courier depot over the weekend. South Island orders may take up to three days for delivery, for rural addresses please add an extra day.
A copy of your receipt will be provided via email. It is important to hold on to a copy of your receipt should you have any problems with your purchase.
Leaving Deliveries
Our deliveries don’t require a signature upon arrival, however, if you anticipate that you may not be home, please advise a safe place for the courier to leave your parcel when placing your order online.
Delivery Addresses
We accept both business and residential addresses for delivery however we cannot ship to a PO BOX address.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the fragile nature of plants your order cannot be exchanged or returned should you change your mind. We ask that all purchases are final.
In the rare case your plant has suffered severe damage on its journey please keep your plant inside the packaging it arrived in and reseal. Contact The Power Plant within two working days with photos of the damaged plant in its packaging (before resealing) so we can lodge a claim with our courier provider and organise for your plant to be collected for return and a full refund provided.
When purchasing from our brick-and-mortar store, your purchase must be returned to the store and we will process the return via the same way you originally paid.
All exchanges or refunds will be returned to you in the same way originally paid.
Loss of parcel
If your plant order can be tracked to the delivery address provided at the time of your order The Power Plant will not be liable for this loss. However, if your parcel has been lost in transit due to handling by our couriers we will contact you to either refund or replace your order.

How do your subscriptions work?
We currently offer Easy Care subscription options (with our without a ceramic planter) Every month, subscribers receive one new plant and one ceramic planter. You can choose between three, six or 12 months and your planter colour. The plants included in our subscription program are a mix of those available on our website (www.thepowerplant.co.nz) Our range changes seasonally and often. We will try our best to provide variety and not repeat the same plant within a 6 month period. Please note planter shapes, design and colours will change frequently.
*Subscription boxes can only be delivered within New Zealand. Promotions and discounts do not apply to subscription purchases.
Do the plants come potted in ceramic?
Most cases no. Plants will be shipped in their grow pot, placed inside the ceramic planter. Simply enjoy as is or remove it from the grow pot and pot it inside the planter. It’s up to you!
We will only plant directly inside the ceramic planter if it's a shape that won't house the grow pot smoothly. If you have a preference please let us know.
When will I receive each box?
Following your initial purchase, subscriptions will continue every 30 days until a total of three, six or twelve shipments have been completed. An email with tracking details will be sent to you once your monthly box is on its way.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are a three, six or twelve plant delivery commitment. At this time, you cannot skip a month or cancel your subscription for a refund.
Can I gift a Subscriptions
Indeed—and they make fantastic presents! You can gift a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription. Just input your gift recipient's address on the shipping step of checkout. You can include a gift note in your cart before checking out.
