Similar to the Ficus Benghalensis, the Ficus Altissima has large and thick, oval-shaped leaves. They have prominent veins in the centre while the outer edge of the leaf has slight variegation that will become more of a prominent yellow colour with age.
This plant is sold in a 14cm plastic nursery pot.
Ficus Altissima loves bright, filtered light but can tolerate some early morning or late afternoon sun. Avoid the midday sun, particularly in summer.
Allow the soil to dry out before watering, then completely saturate. Make sure there is good drainage as the plant doesn't like sitting in water.
Please note: the plant pictured is an example and may vary slightly.
